How to Use / Process Overview
The DTF process offers a clear and efficient workflow:
Design & RIP: Finalize your artwork (including the white layer) and process the file through the RIP software (AcroRip) on your Windows PC.
Print to Film: Print the design directly onto the specialized PET transfer film using the printer’s CMYK and White DTF inks.
Powder & Cure: Manually apply DTF adhesive powder to the wet ink on the film. Remove the excess, then heat-cure the film (via a curing oven or heat press without pressure) until the powder melts and adheres.
Heat Transfer: Place the cured film onto your garment and press using a commercial heat press machine.
Peel & Finish: Carefully peel the film away (the peel method depends on the film used) to reveal your permanent, full-color design.
